Andre Iguodala got a hug from his #1 fan, Sister Regena Ross before the Jazz game.
From Bruno Manrique:
Yet this team with championship pedigree seems to have its own version of Loyola’s Sister Jean in Sister Regena Ross, an avid fan of Andre Iguodala’s charms and interests, as well as a devoted fan of the team.
During Sunday night’s broadcast of a home loss to the Utah Jazz, sideline reporter Kerith Burke noted the St. Elizabeth Middle School nun from Oakland and her appreciation for Iguodala started after she read about his interest for technology and the Silicon Valley in a Sunday paper, as a tech coordinator at the school.

Clearly the Holy Spirit was with Iguodala as he had one of his best shooting nights ever from 3. In his five years with GSW, he’d only hit 3 three-pointers in 7 games, including last night, and only three times in his whole career had he hit 80% of his threes on 5 shots or more.
If Andre can keep shooting at a respectable 30+% from three, he will force opponents to guard him instead of giving him the Tony Allen abandonment treatment.
Here’s a short video breakdown of how Iguodala got his threes.
