Steph Curry led the league in jersey sales for the third season in a row

Plus, the Warriors led the league in team jersey sales.

Stephen Curry may have missed much of the NBA season with injury, but that did nothing to lessen his popularity. Despite playing in only 51 games, Curry finished the season as the league leader in jerseys sold.

In addition to Curry leading the league, the Golden State Warriors sold more jerseys than any other team. It’s the third year in a row that both Curry and the Warriors have led their respective categories.

Not surprisingly, Kevin Durant also sold a ton of jerseys, as he finished third in the league, behind only Curry and LeBron James. All in all, Golden State had three players in the top-15, as Klay Thompson finished the year 14th overall.

Water is wet, fire is hot, and the Warriors are highly popular. I know, not exactly breaking news, but it’s always fun to see a quantifiable measure of just how popular the Dubs are. It really wasn’t that long ago that Golden State was the laughing stock of the league.

This is a bit more fun, don’t you think?
