The Warriors host the Pelicans in the first game of round two.

It’s finally here. Game 1 between the Golden State Warriors and New Orleans Pelicans in the Western Conference Semifinals.

Both teams are riding some momentum, as the Warriors dispatched of the San Antonio Spurs with relative ease, while the Pelicans swept the higher-seeded Portland Trail Blazers in round one.

Of course, the biggest story is Stephen Curry, and whether or not he’ll play. He’s still listed as questionable, though it’s looking like he’ll likely wait until Tuesday’s Game 2 to return to the court.

UPDATE: Curry will not play

But the game is hardly lacking in firepower. Kevin Durant. Anthony Davis. Klay Thompson. Jrue Holiday. Draymond Green.

This is going to be a good one folks. And it sure looks like Oracle Arena is ready, as the Warriors faithful surely will be.

It’s not going to be easy, especially if Curry is out. The Pelicans are playing brilliantly, and a spot in the Western Conference Finals is on the line, so you know they’ll be bringing their A game.

But that’s what makes it so fun.
