"The Golden State Warriors and guard Quinn Cook have agreed on a multiyear deal, which Cook is expected to sign by Tuesday, league sources told Yahoo Sports.

As Cook and the Warriors were nearing an agreement on a deal this week, the team released forward Omri Casspi on Saturday night to create an open roster spot for Cook. The Warriors needed to sign Cook to a standard NBA contract for him to be eligible for the playoffs.

The Warriors plan to wait until their final regular-season game to sign Cook to a two-year deal, league sources said.

Cook has earned a spot on the Warriors’ postseason roster and will enter the playoffs as the team’s starting point guard in Stephen Curry’s absence. With Golden State, Cook has found stability after spending brief time with New Orleans, Dallas, Cleveland and Atlanta over the past two seasons."

I guess it is official. And I am grateful!
