Nick Young is known for having a lot of words. The sharp-shooting guard always has a response to any question, and a joke for any situation. But after the Golden State Warriors defeated the Houston Rockets in Monday’s Game 7, something happened that we’ve never seen before: Swaggy P was speechless.
After the game, the TNT crew led a trophy presentation for the newly-minted Western Conference champions. Ernie Johnson tried to interview Young, who will be appearing in his first career NBA Finals, and Young’s response was comedic gold.

When asked about what it means to make it to the championship round, Young said “It means the world to me. I don’t really want to be interviewed right now, I want to go turn up,” as his teammates cackled beside him. “I really want to go have some fun, but you’re interrupting my moment,” he continued, before Johnson remarked that it was the first time Young didn’t want to be interviewed.
Thankfully for Swaggy, the ceremony ended shortly thereafter, and the partying was allowed to resume.
