Health and nutrition is one of the most boring subjects to discuss, especially when it comes to sports. Kevon Looney recently divulged that Draymond Green helped him look at his diet, which played a critical role in Looney’s newfound excellence.
So? What do these guys eat? Looney was talking about eating boring food, “steamed broccoli and turkey” but Uninterrupted put out a little video of Draymond Green’s regime and it looks like his menu is pretty far removed from boring turkey and steamed veggies. This is just a quick preview they put out on Twitter:
Feels good to be back in the postseason.

Wait a minute. Is that Chilaquiles? Dang. I didn’t realize that was health food!
No, but seriously — watch the video and you can see how holistically Green is treating his health and nutrition. It’s pretty cool to have a personal chef and all, but as a guy who binges on an extra late night beer or two, I know all too well how easy it is to slip up and eat a whole bag of chips. There’s another layer of discipline at play here, and it’s part of what separates the guys who flame out of the NBA from those who stick with it and make it work.
