Warriors vs Cavs halftime score: Tied at 56

Game 1 has been a back and forth affair thus far.

Game 1 of the 2018 NBA Finals started horribly for the Golden State Warriors, as Klay Thompson left the game with a knee injury. But for as badly as it began, the first half ended perfectly, with a vintage Stephen Curry highlight.

That highly entertaining buzzer-beater tied the game at 56-56, meaning the Warriors are in prime position to blow things open with one of their typical third quarters. And best of all, Thompson appears to be fine, as he returned to the game after a brief stint in the locker room.

So far, it’s been a battle of the superstars, as Curry and LeBron James have both balled out. James has 24 points on 9-11 shooting, to go along with 4 assists. Curry has 18 points and 6 assists, including this beauty to Kevin Durant.

The Cavs led for most of the half, at one point by as much as 11. But all that matters is that the game is tied at halftime, with all the momentum heading Golden State’s way.
