Playoff watch thread: Things could be worse, you could be a Rockets fan!

Yes, the Warriors lost in ugly fashion, but they still control the series. Houston does not.

So, that was not a very good game that the Golden State Warriors just played. Not very good at all. They got destroyed by the New Orleans Pelicans.

But you know what? It’s Friday night, and you better not let a great team losing a single game get you down.

And you know what else? The Warriors aren’t in any kind of trouble at all. But you know who could be? The Houston Rockets.

The Rockets looked to be cruising when they dominated the Utah Jazz in Game 1 of their series. But Utah bounced back with a very impressive Game 2 win, and now the series shifts to Utah.

A Utah victory tonight means Houston is officially worried. Down 1-2, with the next game on the road? That is not a position any team wants to be in, let alone a team that was supposed to cruise to the Western Conference Finals.

So take your Friday night, enjoy the fact that the Warriors are still winning their series, and have fun watching a Houston team that currently isn’t.
