Put simply, Game 3 sucked and we should all forget about it.
But Game 3 was also not the end of the world. As Steph Curry said after the game, being in position to take a 3-1 lead in Game 4 is a nice place to be.
The only question this morning was who Steve Kerr will start in Game 4. The JaVale McGee thing didnt work, though there are far too many people blaming him for a game that he played less than 10 minutes of. The problem is that they just need to get off to a good start when going uo against Anthony Davis and this just isn’t the right matchup for McGee.
Kerr’s lineups have been anything but predictable (Nick Young has also started games, remember) so it’s hard to say what he’ll do here, but there was a fairly steady drumbeat from media in favor of the Hamptons 5 lineup.
Hamptons 5 played about 8 minutes in Game 3 -- only about 4:30 before the fourth quarter. I would expect a lot more than that today in Game 4. I'm presuming Kerr will start with it.

If they start the Hamptons 5, here's the workable remaining Warriors bench:

-Looney
-Livingston
-West
-Young/Cook but only in cameo roles
-Maybe bit minutes for McGee
Kerr loves solid 10/11-man rotations, even in the playoffs, but GSWs don't have it this postseason.
And Draymond Green has said he’s ready to play as much time at the 5 as the team needs.

Ultimately, that’s the direction Kerr will go: Andre Iguodala will get the start and Draymond Green will start at center.
#Warriors are starting Draymond Green at center w/Iguodala at SF. Hamptons 5 to begin the game this afternoon.

Lineups turned into the scorer’s table: Warriors starting Steph Curry, Klay Thompson, Andre Iguodala, Kevin Durant and Draymond Green together for the first time ever.

There’s no need to wallow in the mess of Game 3 - their problems are all easily fixed. So I’m gonna go optimistic on y’all today and just say they’re going to win today.
