Playoff watch thread: Jazz look to even it up against the Rockets

It’s a compelling Game 4 in the Western Conference.

NBA: Playoffs-Houston Rockets at Utah Jazz Russ Isabella-USA TODAY Sports

Earlier today the Golden State Warriors beat the New Orleans Pelicans in an absolute blowout. The win gave the Warriors a very comfortable 3-1 series lead, and a chance to win the series in Game 5 at home.

Now, the Houston Rockets will seek to do the same thing. The Rockets hold a 2-1 series lead against the Utah Jazz. Tonight, Houston can either put Utah in a borderline insurmountable hole, or find themselves locked in one heck of a close fight.

The series has been a lot of fun so far, with the Rockets dominating Game 1 and Game 3, but with the Jazz nabbing a very impressive road victory in Game 2. For Utah, starters Derrick Favors and Ricky Rubio are both questionable, with the latter hoping to make his first appearance in the series. Some health could go a long way for the Jazz.

The game tips off at 5:00 p.m. PT on on TNT. It should be a great game, so enjoy it, especially knowing that the Warriors are in a comfortable spot.
