Warriors vs Cavs halftime score: Golden State leads 59-46

Now that’s better.

Well, this is what we expected the Golden State Warriors to look like. The Dubs jumped out to an early lead over the Cleveland Cavaliers in Game 2 of the 2018 NBA Finals by knocking down their first seven shots, six of which came at or near the rim.

Cleveland held strong though, and kept the game close for most of the half. But near the end of the second quarter, Stephen Curry started to catch fire with some big (and deep) threes, and the Warriors took a strong 59-46 lead at halftime.

Curry leads the Warriors with 16 points, 6 assists, and 5 rebounds, while Kevin Durant has 13 points, and Klay Thompson 10. LeBron James leads the Cavs with a brilliant 15 points, 8 assists, and 7 rebounds.

If the Warriors can keep this up for another quarter, we could see some garbage time in the fourth.

Let’s Go Dubs!
