The Golden State Warriors beat the Cleveland Cavaliers in Game 3 of the 2018 NBA Finals 110-102. With the win, the Warriors take a commanding 3-0 lead in the series, and are only one win away from their second consecutive championship.
No team in NBA history has ever overcome a 3-0 deficit in the NBA Finals. Heck, no team in NBA history has ever overcome a 3-0 deficit in any round of the NBA playoffs. In other words, the Warriors are so close that they can taste it.
Kevin Durant led the way with perhaps the best game of his Warriors tenure. He had 43 points on just 23 shots, and was utterly unstoppable, while stomping on the Cavs every time they got close.
Game 4 - and perhaps the Warriors third title in four years - is Friday, June 8, in Cleveland.
