Who needs something old, something new, something borrowed and something blue when you receive a locker room named in your honor?
Stephen Curry and his brother, Portland Trail Blazers guard Seth, surprised their sister Sydel on the week of her wedding by naming Elon University’s volleyball locker room in her honor. The youngest Curry played for three years with the Phoenix (red shirt freshman) until injuries marred her fifth year.
Sydel’s trip to Elon was supposed to be just a trip to support her alma mater and her former team. The Phoenix were opening the new Schar Center against North Carolina A&T on Tuesday night and that’s all she expected from the trip.
Until a break in the action.

A video presented at the half featured Steph and Seth congratulating their baby sister on her wedding and naming the locker room in her honor for her years as the Phoenix’s setter.
Sydel and Warriors two way guard, Damion Lee will exchange vows Saturday in Charlotte.
