It’s no secret that Drake is a huge basketball fan. The rapper regularly sits courtside during his hometown Toronto Raptors games. He’s been known to show up at University of Kentucky games and practices. And he’s even been to In-N-Out with Steph Curry and Ayesha Curry.
So it’s not exactly a surprise that Drake broke out a basketball jersey for his latest music video, filmed for his song In My Feelings. But the specific jersey is a bit of a surprise, as Drake went with an obscure throwback, by donning a DeMarcus Cousins high school jersey.
S/o to all my John L. LeFlore HS alumni. We had to take my jersey out of retirement for @drake

Hilariously, the snake emoji that Boogie used (due to the team name being the “Rattlers”) drew a comment from Kevin Durant, who is often referred to as a snake for leaving the Oklahoma City Thunder in favor of the Golden State Warriors.

Well played, KD.
It’s a pretty cool throwback from Drake, and Cousins seemed to enjoy it. If you want to watch the video and see the jersey in action, check it out below.
