Relive the Warriors entire championship run

Watching the Dubs win the title never gets old.

In case you’ve been living under a rock for the last year or so and didn’t hear, the Golden State Warriors repeated as NBA champions in 2018. It wasn’t as clean as the year before, but in many ways, that made it sweeter.

The team wasn’t at their best during the regular season, winning nine fewer games than in any of the previous three years. They didn’t earn the first seed in the West, for the first time in the Steve Kerr era. They dealt with injuries to many key players, and found themselves trailing the Houston Rockets three games to two in the Western Conference Finals.

But ultimately, they prevailed, and it was a beautiful run, and a beautiful time to be a fan of the team.

Over the summer, the Warriors have been releasing a series of videos called “Champions Rewind,” which plays back key moments in the season, complete with game footage, behind-the-scenes views, and player interviews. They’re a lot of fun.

They’ve now released all seven episodes, meaning we can go back and relive the entire season, from the championship ring celebration on opening night, to the championship trophy celebration after Game 4 in June.

Check it out:

I’m ready for the season to start. I’m ready to watch Steph Curry, Kevin Durant, Klay Thompson, and Draymond Green in live action once again.

But until that happens next month, this is a pretty great thing to watch.
