Training camp is less than a week away for the Golden State Warriors. That means it’s time to make the final additions to the training camp roster.
To fill out camp, the Warriors are expected to sign guard Will Cherry to an Exhibit 10 contract. The news was first reported by Emiliano Carchia of Sportnado.
Will Cherry is expected to join the Golden State Warriors on an Exhibit 10 contract, a source told Sportando.

The guard, who has played 8 games with Cavs in 2014-2015, spent last season with KK Cedevita in Croatia
As a reminder, an Exhibit 10 contract - which the Warriors have also given to Marcus Derrickson and Kendrick Nunn - is a non-guaranteed deal. Assuming the player under contract is waived by the team (which is certainly likely for Cherry), they are able to make up to $50,000 in bonuses for signing with the team’s G-League affiliate (in this case the Santa Cruz Warriors).
Cherry, 27, has very limited NBA experience. His lone playing time in the league came during the 2014-15 season, when he played in eight games as a member of the Cleveland Cavaliers.
Since then, Cherry has played overseas, most recently for KK Cedevita in Croatia, where he averaged 11.8 points and 4.1 assists per game. He is a 6’1” guard.
