The Golden State Warriors have dispatched all opponents on this current road trip and will face one more Eastern Conference team in the Indiana Pacers before heading back to the Bay.

Here we discuss the odds and analysis from a betting perspective:

Indiana Pacers

The Pacers are 32-16 but have sustained a season-ending injury to one of their top players in Victor Oladipo and it showed in their lifeless 106-103 loss to the Memphis Grizzlies on Saturday.

Indiana is led by Victor Oladipo scoring 18.8 points per game, Domantas Sabonis with 9.5 rebounds per game and Darren Collison with 5.8 assists per game.

Indiana is scoring 108.9 points per game (21st of 30), allowing 103.2 points per game (1st of 30), earning a simple rating system (SRS) score of 4.14 (7th of 30), pace factor of 97.9 (23rd of 30), offensive rating of 110.9 (15th of 30) and defensive rating of 105.2 (2nd of 30).

The Pacers are 24-23-1 against the spread (ATS), 22-26 to the over/under, 3-0 ATS as a home underdog, 9-5-1 ATS after a loss, 11-16-1 ATS with one day off, 9-6 to the over/under after a loss and 8-7 to the over/under as an underdog this season.

Golden State Warriors

The Warriors earned a 115-111 win and covered the spread against the Boston Celtics at the Garden, moving to 35-14 on the season and pushing their winning streak to ten games.

Golden State is led by Stephen Curry scoring 29.3 points per game and Draymond Green with 8.0 rebounds and 7.3 assists per game.

The Dubs are 22-26-1 ATS, 27-22 to the over/under, 17-16-1 ATS after a win, 10-11 ATS as an away favorite, 15-6 to the over/under as an away favorite, 16-9 to the over/under as the away team and 21-13 to the over/under after a win this season.

Analysis

The Pacers have been a tough out for the Warriors recently, covering the number and winning outright the last two times these teams have played.

But both of those Pacer wins included Victor Oladipo and occurred in the last week of March and first week of April in 2018, a time of the season where the Warriors were in cruise control as they got ready for the playoffs.

As evidenced by their gritty win in Boston and this road trip, the current iteration of Golden State is playing like they have something to prove with DeMarcus Cousins in the lineup and we would not bet against them right now.

Given Indiana’s solid defense, the absence of Victor Oladipo and the Warriors possibly having fatigued legs at the end of the road trip and after an intense battle at Boston, we see the best value in taking the score to go under 225.5.
