Warriors vs. Pacers: Jordan Bell gets the start

Golden State looks for their 11th consecutive win in a game that will be missing Victor Oladipo and Draymond Green.

The Golden State Warriors finish off their road trip by taking on the Indiana Pacers tonight at 4:00 p.m. PT on NBA TV and NBC Sports Bay Area.

It’s a chance to pull off something rather rare: A five-game road trip sweep. With a win, the Warriors would extend their winning streak to 11 games, while pushing their road winning streak to 10 games - both very impressive marks.

Unfortunately, it will be a game missing two key stars. The Pacers will be without the face of their franchise, shooting guard Victor Oladipo, who suffered a debilitating ruptured quad last week, and will be out for the rest of the season.

The Pacers aren’t the only ones rallying around their All-Star: Warriors point guard Quinn Cook, a close friend of Oladipo’s, has been showing his support as well.

For Golden State, they’ll be without Draymond Green, who is sitting out the game for rest after having played 22 consecutive contests. Jordan Bell will start in his place.

The Warriors will be thin up front (Jonas Jerebko is also not playing, due to the birth of his second child) against a very talented Indiana frontcourt that includes Myles Turner, Domantas Sabonis, and Thaddeus Young. It will be another exciting challenge for DeMarcus Cousins, who is playing in his fifth game of the season.
