Stephen Curry will sit Wednesday.
Editor’s note: Wes Goldberg, a tremendous reporter, has replaced Mark Medina as the Warriors beat reporter at The Mercury News. So you’ll be seeing some tweets from a new face this year, but he’s trustworthy and reputable.
Even with Curry - who will rest for Wednesday’s penultimate preseason game - out, the Warriors are hilariously thin when Green and Russell sit.
But they’ll be going up against an equally thin team, as the Lakers are resting both LeBron James and Anthony Davis.
Los Angeles Lakers stars LeBron James and Anthony Davis are expected to sit out tonight’s game against the Golden State Warriors, league sources tell Yahoo Sports.— Chris Haynes (@ChrisBHaynes) October 14, 2019
The Warriors and Lakers not only play each other tonight and on Wednesday, but on Friday, too. There’s a good chance that game - the final preseason contest for both teams - will feature a bit more star power than this one will.
