UPDATE #2: Green returned to the game to start the second quarter.
UPDATE: Green has been listed as having an elbow contusion, and his return is questionable
The 2019-20 season could not have started worse for the Golden State Warriors. Less than three minutes in, they trailed the Los Angeles Clippers 11-0. Bad enough.
But then came the worse news: Draymond Green was headed to the locker room.
Green appeared to hurt his arm while setting a screen and getting caught. He moved back on defense, and was trying to shake his arm off, but went to the locker room when coach Steve Kerr called a timeout.

Bob Myers just went back to the locker room to check on Draymond Green, who hasn't emerged. TNT video showed Celebrini putting pressure on his right forearm/elbow area.

Until we hear from the team, there’s no way of knowing how severe - or hopefully how minor - the injury is. Hopefully all is fine, and Green will be back on the court before long.
As always, we’ll keep you updated as news comes out regarding Green’s injury. Fingers crossed that it’s good news.
When Green left, Eric Paschall took his place. He’ll likely start if Green is to miss any games going forward.
