We might not see Klay Thompson play for the Golden State Warriors this season. But we’ll still see him work.
The five-time All-Star will be trying a new job tonight when the Warriors host the Chicago Bulls: Sideline reporter. Thompson will spend some time during the game working the camera and the sidelines for NBC Sports Bay Area’s coverage.

Thompson will be temporarily taking over for exceptional full-time sideline reporter Kerith Burke, who got off some good jokes on Twitter when the news broke.

It goes without saying that this is bound to be entertaining. Thompson is always good for a few highlight video clips, whether it’s a postgame interview, a halftime show segment, or a news clip about scaffolding.
The Warriors may not be the most watchable product right now, but sideline reporter Klay certainly will be. So get to a TV to watch the game, or at least catch the highly memable highlights that will surely follow.
