Steph Curry showed up in the Davidson student section on Friday

The superstar took it back to where it all started over All-Star weekend.

Steph Curry is back in his home state of North Carolina for the 2019 NBA All-Star Game, and the Golden State Warriors superstar is doing more than just playing basketball. He’s watching some, too.

The two-time MVP and three-time champion showed up at his alma mater, Davidson College on Friday, to take in a game. And he truly took it in in style, getting funky in the student section with some wild and crazy fans.

Curry was a good luck charm for the Wildcats, who used a strong second-half comeback to defeat Saint Joseph’s 80-72.

Perhaps Curry’s presence - he came bearing gifts, after all - played a role.

The six-time All-Star was clearly happy to be back home, taking in a Wildcats game, and took to social media to show his pride for the only school that showed him interest way back in the day.

It’s abundantly clear that, no matter how bright his star becomes, Curry never forgets where he came from.
