Team LeBron overcame a 20 point third quarter deficit to defeat Team Giannis 178-164 in the 2019 All-Star game. Our very own Kevin Durant took home All-Star MVP with 31 points and 7 rebounds in a gold-blooded performance. Fellow Golden State Warriors Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson had plenty of moments to shine as well in a great night for basketball in Charlotte.
First Quarter
Giannis Antetokounmpo attacked the basket relentlessly in transition, dunking his way to an easy 16 points in the first quarter. Dirk Nowitzki showed off some of his legendary shooting ability as well.

Team LeBron was paced by Kevin Durant, who did what we’ve seen him do in plenty of first quarters here in the Golden State: GET BUCKETS.

KD’s trash talk to Embiid after that shot didn’t look like it was just for All-Star show.

In the second quarter, Curry and his team captain linked up for a dunk contest worthy highlight.

Second Half
Team LeBron came back with a vengeance, taking a 132-131 lead after three quarters. Damian Lillard and Klay Thompson fueled the run with several deep bombs.
Hands down....This is the best All Star I can ever recall in awhile....they are being competive and it's the 3rd Quarter

The fourth quarter had a funny moment with Splash Bro on Splash Bro crime.

But James and Durant put the finishing touches on down the stretch and put away Team Giannis for good.
We’ll have more coverage from this amazing game for you coming up tomorrow as we break down how the Warriors shined bright on a night of All-Stars! GOOD NIGHT EVERYBODY!
