Steph Curry was mic’d up at the 2019 NBA All-Star Game, and the Golden State Warriors two-time MVP delivered with some exceptional soundbites. The superstar was making his sixth consecutive All-Star Game appearance, and gave fans a little bit of a behind-the-scenes experience by wearing a mic for much of the weekend.
While warming up for the game, Curry hilariously lamented at how exhausted he was after landing a highlight dunk, stating “I need a nap.”

Later, in the game itself, Curry got caught having some funny and endearing moments with his teammate Klay Thompson, who was on the opposing team for the All-Star Game. Curry wanted to defend Klay and, after forcing his fellow Splash Brother into a difficult shot, excitedly praised his own defense.

Curry also had some exceptional moments at Saturday’s All-Star practice. In addition to his comments about James Harden, which he likely didn’t mean to have go public, Curry had a cool moment talking with Milwaukee Bucks coach Mike Budenholzer.
The coach of Team Giannis and the three-time champion point guard talked about the minutes Curry would receive in the game, before shifting their focus to Giannis Antetokounmpo. Both of them pushed for a competitive game, with Bud telling Curry that “if you’re going hard, I can promise you number 34 is going hard too,” a reference to the Greek Freak. Curry then sang the praises of the work ethic of Milwaukee’s young MVP candidate. It pretty neat.
"If you're going hard, I can promise you No. 34 is too."

The mic’d up features are always awesome, so hopefully we see more of these from the NBA going forward.
