Warrior Wonder: Curry and the starters brought the pain to the Kings

New, comments

There were too many good performances involved as the Dubs got the W against Sacramento. Who should get the WW?

NBA: Sacramento Kings at Golden State Warriors Kyle Terada-USA TODAY Sports

When the Golden State Warriors stars are locked in, there’s no hope for any opponent. Can somebody please tell these upstart Sacramento Kings that? Those youngsters fearlessly attacked the world champions for four quarters, raising the competitive level to playoff-like levels.

Fortunately for Dub Nation, the Warriors are no stranger to that intense atmosphere and were up for the challenge. Which star shined the brightest in that war Thursday night?

Stephen Curry

The greatest shooter alive took fiendish delight in sticking dagger after dagger into Sacramento’s heart.

Just another night in Curry’s Oakland office, where he’s always ready to do some work.

Kevin Durant

But maybe defense is more your fancy, in which case I present to you the great KD. For all my fantasy players out there, Durant went off last night!

I don’t think many appreciate what a two-way force Durant is. On either end he is capable and willing to destroy his opponent, a rare quality in today’s NBA.

Honorable Mention

DeMarcus Cousins: 17 points, 10 rebounds, several scowls on his old teammate.

Klay Thompson: 18 points, 5 rebounds, 4 assists, tried to posterize two Kings at once. Seriously, what has gotten into KlayThompson this season? He’s trying to dunk on EVERYBODY.

Draymond Green: 12 points, 8 assists, 6 rebounds, brilliant in defensive rotations. I had to laugh when he got a crucial technical foul with the game on the line. The arrogance to spot the Kings a point in crunch time? Hilarious (also could have been dangerous had Buddy Hield hit a game winner).

Okay, I leave it up to you good people. Who was the Warriors Wonder in the win vs Sacramento?
