Jordan Bell is out vs. the Hornets

The second-year big is taking the night off due to sickness.

Jordan Bell will not play when the Golden State Warriors visit the Charlotte Hornets on Monday evening. The team has officially listed him as out due to flu-like symptoms that he is experiencing.

Bell’s minutes have been spotty of late, and all year. He’s appeared in only two of the last six games for the Warriors, but in those two games he combined to play more than 33 minutes, and played quite well. In those minutes he had 12 points on 6-10 shooting, with 12 rebounds and three blocked shots.

Hopefully the sickness doesn’t keep Bell out for too long, and he can get back to finding his rhythm on the court.

Elsewhere on the injury report, Draymond Green is listed as probable despite spraining his left ankle two days ago, and Shaun Livingston is also probable as he deals with tightness in his left hamstring.

Monday’s game in Charlotte marks the start of a four-game road trip, as the Warriors will be traveling the east coast to take on the Miami Heat on Wednesday, the Orlando Magic on Thursday, and the Philadelphia 76ers on Saturday. Hopefully they can stay healthy this week.
