The downtown Oakland YMCA is getting a new basketball court, courtesy of Draymond Green and the Golden State Warriors. The team announced on their social media platforms that the three-time All-Star’s YMCA court had officially been unveiled, and released some awesome pictures of Green with local youth.

For all the amazing things Green and his teammates do on the basketball court, it’s just as amazing to watch what they put in motion off the court. This is an awesome initiative by Green that will impact the community he’s called home since 2012 for many, many years.
It’s especially cool to have this take place in Oakland, since the Warriors will be moving across the bay to San Francisco next year. There will still be plenty of signs of the Warriors roots in Oakland, including the Draymond Green Court.
You can’t help but smile when looking at the pictures from the unveiling, and seeing how happy the kids are. And that’s what it’s all about. Well done, Dray.
