The Golden State Warriors suffered their second Florida loss in two nights, running out of gas late against the Orlando Magic 103 to 96. The Warriors didn’t have Kevin Durant or Andre Iguodala and were on their fifth game in eight days. but still had several chances to win.
Stephen Curry scored 33 points, but needed 33 shots to get there. His fellow Splash Bro came up real dry as well, going 9-for-23 from the field.
DeMarcus Cousins finished the game with 21 points and 11 rebounds. It was encouraging, as per Warriors PR on Twitter, it was his second straight 20/10 game and his fifth straight double-double.
The Warriors finished the game shooting 9-for-40 from beyond the arc, and this is their fourth loss in six games.

END OF Q3: Warriors up 81-70 on the Magic. In that third quarter, Golden State outscored Orlando 30-11. Tremendous defense by the Warriors.

But Orlando roared back in the fourth quarter, taking advantage of the Warriors’ tired legs. Orlando finished the game on a 14-2 run, outscoring the champs 33-15 for the quarter.
Aaron Gordon led Orlando with 22 points and 15 rebounds. Nikola Vucevic struggled against Cousins defense, going 4-of-15 from the field, finishing with 12 points and 13 rebounds.
