The last time the Golden State Warriors faced the Phoenix Suns on the road way back on New Year’s Eve, a largely uncompetitive 132-109 beatdown ensued.
Stephen Curry did his thing to the tune of 34 points on 11-for-17 shooting and Kevin Durant added 25. The Suns did get 25 from Deandre Ayton and 20 from Devin Booker, but 6-for-15 shooting from Booker just isn’t going to cut it against a team like the Warriors.
Warriors PR reminded us of that game with highlights earlier today.

Well, barring a letdown from the Warriors, tonight’s affair figures to be less competitive: Booker, who had previously been listed as questionable, is out for tonight’s game with an injury.
Devin Booker is out tonight with right hamstring tightness, per Suns PR.

Nevertheless, every game is an opportunity to see how Warriors center DeMarcus Cousins’ continued acclimation process goes and a game like this could be an opportunity to watch some of the younger guys work if the top of the rotation handles business.
Anyway, feel free to leave your thoughts on the matchup or the game itself as it unfolds in the comments.
