The Milwaukee Bucks have suffered yet another injury blow, as rookie guard Donte Divincenzo has been ruled out for the rest of the season due to bilateral heel bursitis on his left foot. The report comes from Malika Andrews and Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN.
Divincenzo has been largely out of the lineup for the last few months, as the injury lingered before Milwaukee finally shut him down. He didn’t figure to play a huge role in the playoffs - few rookies do - but he was important depth on a Bucks team that has been dealt a flurry of setbacks.
While Divincenzo is the only Buck that’s ruled out for the year, he joins Malcolm Brogdon, Nikola Mirotic, and Pau Gasol in street clothes for the foreseeable future.
Nikola Mirotic: Out 2-4 weeks with sprain and fracture in left thumb

Malcolm Brogdon: Out 6-to-8 weeks with minor plantar fascia tear in right foot
Pau Gasol: Out 1 month with left ankle injury
Donte DiVincenzo: Out for season with bilateral heel bursitis in left foot
Those are some brutal blows for a Bucks team that has legitimate championship aspirations. Milwaukee has the league’s best record and net rating, and have their sights set on dethroning the two-time defending champion Golden State Warriors when June rolls around.
These mounting injuries don’t change those aspirations, but they certainly make the goal a little bit more difficult.
