The Golden State Warriors will look to close out the Los Angeles Clippers tonight in Game 5 of the first round of the NBA Playoffs. The game tips off at 7:30 p.m. PT on TNT.
And while the Warriors have their own exciting game to play, they - like the entire basketball world - have been enamored with the heroics of one Oakland product: Damian Lillard.
Lillard hit one of the more memorable shots in NBA history on Tuesday, with a cold-blooded step-back 37-footer at the buzzer to send the Portland Trail Blazers to the second round of the playoffs.
After the game, Oklahoma City Thunder forward Paul George was rather dismissive of Lillard’s theatrics, labeling his make a “bad shot.”
Naturally, Steve Kerr had some thoughts on the matter, and in typical Kerr fashion he made the room laugh, saying, “It’s a good shot for Damian. It’s a good shot for Steph [Curry].”

Yup, that seems about right.
If you missed Lillard’s amazing night - his series-clincher capped a 50-point game, and he waved goodbye to the Thunder before deadpanning into the camera - it makes for some great pre-game viewing material.
Programming note: The Warriors game will be aired following the conclusion of the game between the Houston Rockets and the Utah Jazz. As usual, if that game goes a little past 7:30, the Warriors start will be delayed. If it goes well beyond 7:30, the Warriors game will begin on a different station (either TBS or TNT Overtime), as well as on NBC Sports Bay Area.
