GAME DETAILS
Who: Golden State Warriors at Los Angeles Clippers (Warriors lead series 3-2)
When: Wednesday April 26, 2019 at 7:00pm
Where: Staples Center
TV: ESPN, NBCSPORTS Bay Area
Injuries: DeMarcus Cousins (quadricep) and Damian Jones (pectoral) are out for the Warriors.
I’ve been waiting all year for a reason for the champs to actually get truly challenged. 82 game regular season? Psssh. The back-to-back champs took the #1 seed of the Western Conference with the same drowsy intensity that a stoner eats a Lunchable at 2 A.M. #lightwork
But now? Things are getting real annoying in round 1 versus the 8th seeded but big hearted Los Angeles Clippers. Let’s recap the latest developments:
- The Warriors are 1-2 at home in the playoffs against the Clips. This is the last season basketball will be played in Oracle and the Dubs are just flat out not defending home court with swag.
- The Houston Rockets had the audacity to come into Oakland, to set up practices in Oracle Arena, while the Dubs are away from home. The level of disrespect is so high here, that I can’t even console myself without remembering that the Rockets haven’t won anything since “Seinfeld” was the hottest show in America.
- Kobe Bryant and Shaquille O’Neal dominated for Los Angeles in Game 5. Oops, pardon me, that was just Lou Williams and Montrezl Harrell, coming off of the bench to bully the Warriors.

First of all why are we wearing blue at home? Second of all WHY ARE WE GETTING COOKED WITH FISH GREASE?
Enough is enough. It’s a race to 4, and we’ve got 3, don’t let them get 3, because then it’s still a race to 4, but then they’re tied, and you all know how math works.

We summon you to help close this series.
May your 3s soar through Staples and burn their imprint on the net. May your layups be so contorting, it breaks the necks of those who try to follow along. May your crossovers be so nasty it sends players to their graves. pic.twitter.com/SRP9SDILXc
It’s time for the Warriors to dominate. The Clippers will be fighting for their lives. It’s Game 6, live from Staples Center, NEXT!
