Andris Biedrins responds to Steph Curry’s tribute

This will warm the hearts of all Warriors fans.

Steph Curry made a tremendous fashion statement when he showed up for Tuesday’s game between the Golden State Warriors and the Denver Nuggets rocking an Andris Biedrins jersey.

Curry has been wearing the jerseys of former Warriors players to contests lately, to celebrate the final games at Oracle Arena. Not long ago he rocked a Baron Davis jersey, but tonight it was all about Beans.

Now, that’s a beautiful sight for Warriors fans.

But it gets better! Biedrins - who has mostly been off the grid since leaving the NBA during the 2013-14 season - responded to Curry with a video.

I’ve watched this video at least 10 times, and somehow it’s gotten better each time. This is truly tremendous.

Curry and Biedrins spent four years as teammates, from Curry’s rookie season in 2009-10, until Biedrins was traded in the summer of 2013 to make room for Andre Iguodala. Biedrins played just six games for the Utah Jazz the following year - the only non-Warriors games in his career - before leaving the league.

It’s good to see his face again.
