The NBA lottery is today folks! It’s the time when all the downtrodden franchises beg for the ping pong falls of fate to send them some future hope. However the balls bounce could determine where potential superstars like Zion Williamson and R.J. Barrett land for next season.
ESPN will be airing the extravaganza at 5:30 PM Pacific time, and it should provide as a fun lead up to the main event wherein the plucky Portland Trail Blazers descend upon Oracle Arena to face the defending champion Golden State Warriors.

As Warriors fans, I’m sure we can look back from our lofty summit and peer down into the valley of shame where we resided for so long. I remember when the Dubs drafted Joe Smith; I even went to his basketball camp in Oakland when I was nine years old and asked him how old he was when he first dunked. His response: 14!
Each losing season would end with us dreaming of getting a high draft pick that would hopefully change our futures for the better. We struck gold by drafting the Splash Bros, Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson.
Tonight’s somebody elses opportunity to pick up a basketball savior.
