Podcast: Warriors drop Game 3 amid bizarre Steph Curry performance

The Rockets won at home, and now we have a series on our hands.

NBA: Playoffs-Golden State Warriors at Houston Rockets Troy Taormina-USA TODAY Sports

The Houston Rockets needed overtime, but they got a win against the Golden State Warriors in Game 3 of the Western Conference Semifinals. Now the real series begin.

It was an odd game for the Warriors. There was a remarkable 46 points from Kevin Durant, but also very poor performances by Steph Curry and Klay Thompson. Andre Iguodala and Draymond Green played well, but the team couldn’t contain Clint Capela and PJ Tucker on the offensive glass.

James Harden and Eric Gordon played extremely well, and the game was thrilling, albeit sloppy, down to the very end.

And we get to do it all again on Monday.

So here’s another episode of the Wake Up With the Warriors podcast - a short recap of Game 3. You can listen to it in the embedded player below, or on iTunes, Stitcher, or Spotify. Be sure to subscribe and leave a rating, or drop a comment below to tell us what we can do better!
