Despite Kevin Durant’s injury, Golden State came up big when it mattered most.

For the Golden State Warriors, Game 5 against the Houston Rockets was their most important game of the season.

They survived another rough shooting night from Steph Curry. They survived foul trouble from Draymond Green. They survived heroics from James Harden. And they survived a third quarter non-contact injury to Kevin Durant that kept him out of the fourth quarter, and will likely keep him out of the rest of the series.

They survived big shots from Eric Gordon, and fumbled loose balls in the waning seconds.

Somehow, some way, they survived.

Here’s another episode of Wake Up With the Warriors to tell you all about a chaotic, wild, exciting Game 5, that ultimately gave the Warriors a 3-2 series lead.

You can listen to the short recap below, or on your device through iTunes, Spotify, or Stitcher.

We’ll be back on Friday with another episode recapping Game 6.
