Klay Thompson leaves Game 6 with apparent knee injury

After landing awkwardly, the five-time All-Star headed to the locker room.

Klay Thompson left the Golden State Warriors game against the Toronto Raptors on Thursday night with an apparent knee injury. Thompson went up for a dunk in transition and was fouled by Danny Green.

He landed awkwardly, and his knee appeared to bend in a bad way. He immediately fell to the floor and held the leg in pain.

Thompson was done for a good amount of time, before being helped to his feet. With the help of the training staff, he started to head to the locker room. When he realized he would need to shoot the free throws in order to have a chance to return to the game, he turned around and went back on the court.

He then shot his free throws, and appeared to be moving better. It looked like he wanted to stay in the game, but the Warriors committed an intentional foul to sub him out, and he went straight to the locker room.

It was truly unbelievable.
