And there aren’t really any surprises.

The Golden State Warriors have announced their 2019 Summer League roster.

There aren’t really any surprises on the team. It’s full of the usual suspects and previously reported players. Golden State’s three picks from Thursday’s draft - first rounder Jordan Poole and second-round selections Alen Smailagic and Eric Paschall - are all on the team, as is last year’s draft pick, Jacob Evans III.

Journeyman sharpshooter Jimmer Fredette will also be there, as will highly-touted undrafted free agent Ky Bowman.

Arguably the most interesting name for the Warriors is fourth-year center Damian Jones, who missed much of the 2018-19 season due to an injury. Jones will be part of the Summer League team for the California Classic in Sacramento, which begins on July 1, but will not join the team for the Las Vegas Summer League later in the week.

Also of note is 2016 first-round pick Malachi Richardson, who has bounced around the league in his first three years, showing some signs of promise but having a hard time putting things together.

Summer League is right around the corner. For information on the schedule and broadcasting times, check out our scheduling article.
