The Golden State Warriors Game 4 loss to the Toronto Raptors was one of the harder pills to swallow in the last five years of Warriors basketball.
It pushed Golden State to the brink of elimination. The NBA Finals hang in the balance. Their season hangs in the balance. Another game at Oracle Arena hangs in the balance. The continuation of the dynasty hangs in the balance.
The Warriors simply didn’t have enough. Klay Thompson was brilliant, at times. Steph Curry had some huge moments. Draymond Green made some big plays. But they were no match for Kawhi Leonard and Co.
Kevin Durant was sorely missed, but perhaps more importantly, the Warriors just didn’t look like a team of the same caliber as their opponent.
Here’s another episode of Wake Up With the Warriors, providing an audio recap of the ugly Game 4. You can listen below, or on iTunes, Spotify, or Stitcher.
