The Golden State Warriors dropped their final summer league game of 2019, falling to the Los Angeles Lakers 88-87 in Las Vegas.
The young Warriors’ big guns didn’t play this one, as Jacob Evans III, Jordan Poole, Eric Paschall, and Alen Smailagic all sat the contest out. The Dubs were led by Kevin McClain’s 25 points on 9-of-16 shooting from the field, along with making 5-of-10 triples.
The Lake Show was led by 20 bench points by Jordan Caroline.
The Warriors lack of (summer league) star power didn’t seem to matter initially as they raced out to a 57-33 halftime lead.

But the Lakers roared back and dominated the second half. It was an ugly shooting game for both teams, as could be expected with the contest being the last game for both squads. The Warriors shot 40% from the field, while the Lakers shot 39%.
Okay, now that summer league is all wrapped up, did you see any future hall-of-famers on the Warriors roster?
