Dr. Tom and the Gold Blooded King E9: Chatting with “The Dream Shake”

The Houston Rockets’ blog was kind enough to send the great Coty Davis to discuss all things GSW-HOU, the wild offseason, and predictions for the West.

The Golden State Warriors and Houston Rockets are in a perpetual arms race with each other to run the West. The Warriors have repeatedly knocked Houston out of the playoffs in knock-down, drag-out wars, but that hasn’t stopped “Clutch City” from making splashy roster changes every summer to keep up with the Golden Empire.

This year was no different, as Houston shipped out Chris Paul to Oklahoma City in exchange for an MVP in Russell Westbrook. On the flip side, the Warriors are retooling on the fly after losing an MVP of their own in Kevin Durant. Additionally, multiple teams in the West made drastic roster changes as well in the hopes of taking conference championship away from the Dubs who have won it five straight times.

With all this mayhem in mind, Thomas “Dr. Tom” Bevilacqua and the “Gold Blooded King” Daniel Hardee brought The Dream Shake’s very own Coty Davis to the podcast! We share thoughts on the Warriors-Rockets rivalry, the wild offseason, and predict what will the Rockets look like with Westbrook on board.

It’s always a fun time when GSoM and TDS have a meeting of the minds, so without further ado, check out the latest podcast!
