The Golden State Warriors preseason schedule was released a few weeks ago, and featured a surprising four of five games against the Los Angeles Lakers.
And now we know that two of those games will be broadcast nationally.
The NBA just released the full 2019-20 preseason schedule. Golden State’s first preseason game - on October 5, at 5:00 p.m., PT vs. the Lakers - will be broadcast on TNT. It’s the first basketball game ever at the new Chase Center in San Francisco, so the national broadcast is very much deserved.

That game is also the league’s first nationally televised game of the preseason.
Eleven days later, on October 16, the Lakers will host the Warriors at the Staples Center, in a game broadcast by ESPN. It tips off at 7:30 p.m. PT.
Other than the Warriors and the Lakers squaring off twice, there are only five nationally televised preseason games. The others, in case you simply cannot wait until the real season begins on October 22, are as follows:
October 8: Dallas Mavericks at Oklahoma City Thunder (5:00 p.m. PT, ESPN)
October 8: Denver Nuggets at Portland Trail Blazers (7:30 p.m. PT, ESPN)
October 9: New Orleans Pelicans at Chicago Bulls (5:00 p.m. PT, ESPN)
October 16: Atlanta Hawks at New York Knicks (5:00 p.m. PT, ESPN)
October 18: New Orleans Pelicans at New York Knicks (5:00 p.m. PT, TNT)
We’re getting closer, folks. The NBA season is right around the corner.
