Spoiler: Get ready for the Lakers. A lot of the Lakers.

The Golden State Warriors have released their preseason schedule for the 2019-20 season, and they play the Los Angeles Lakers. A lot. A lot.

The five-time defending Western Conference champs will have five preseason games, and four of them will come against LeBron James and Anthony Davis’ squad. The fifth will be against the Minnesota Timberwolves.

Here’s the detailed schedule, if you can’t see the tweet.

Game #1: Los Angeles Lakers

Date: Saturday, October 5
Location: Chase Center (San Francisco)
Time: 5:00 p.m. PT

Game #2: Minnesota Timberwolves

Date: Thursday, October 10
Location: Chase Center (San Francisco)
Time: 7:30 p.m. PT

Game #3: Los Angeles Lakers

Date: Monday, October 14
Location: Staples Center (Los Angeles)
Time: 7:30 p.m. PT

Game #4: Los Angeles Lakers

Date: Wednesday, October 16
Location: Staples Center (Los Angeles)
Time: 7:30 p.m. PT

Game #5: Los Angeles Lakers

Date: Friday, October 18
Location: Chase Center (San Francisco)
Time: 7:30 p.m. PT

No word yet on the broadcast schedule for these games, but it’s safe to say a few of them will be nationally televised, and the rest will be on NBC Sports Bay Area.

It’s bizarre that the Warriors and Lakers play each other so much, but so it goes. Maybe they just really miss Quinn Cook and DeMarcus Cousins.

After wrapping up the preseason, the Warriors will have five days off before opening the season on Thursday, October 24, against the Los Angeles Clippers.
