Video highlights from minicamp

Warriors basketball at long last.

The Golden State Warriors missed out on an invitation to the NBA’s bubble in Orlando, Florida, so they created their own: The Dubble.

Yes, the Dubs are back at the facilities, with minicamp underway. It’s been an opportunity for youngsters to get some reps in that they missed when the season was postponed due to the coronavirus, as well as a chance for veterans to get back on the court after injuries.

Neither Steph Curry nor Draymond Green is there, but everyone else is.

And that includes the Warriors video crew.

Yes, Golden State has been blessing us with highlights from The Dubble, and we’re here to absorb every last drop of it. Sure, there’s been some tremendous basketball going on in the NBA and WNBA playoffs, but it’s been more than 200 days since we’ve seen Warriors basketball. So let’s watch some.

Here’s a highlight package the Warriors put together that features the following:

  • Klay Thompson looking healthy
  • Kevon Looney looking healthy
  • Jordan Poole having the time of his life
  • Ky Bowman throwing down reverse jams
  • Leandro Barbosa, coaching
  • Eric Paschall working on footwork
  • Juan Toscano-Anderson being extremely athletic
  • Alen Smailagic working on crossovers
  • Klay Thompson jumpers
  • Kevon Looney jumpers

Or how about Paschall working on his jump shot?

Or perhaps Damion Lee displaying his half-court range?

Missing Marquese Chriss? Worry not.

Or perhaps best yet, Poole mic’d up during a scrimmage.

Or maybe you fancy a buzzer-beater?

Yep. Those are nice. Those make me feel a little better.

It might be a minicamp inside a bubble during the offseason without their biggest star, but it’s still Warriors basketball in video form. And I still love it.
