The day we have been waiting for is finally here! The 2020 NBA Draft begins at 5 p.m. PT, and we won’t have to wait long to see what the Golden State Warriors will do with the second overall pick.

The Dubs are rumored to be enamored with Memphis big man James Wiseman, who I took for the Warriors in our SB Nation Blogger Draft. Wiseman checks many boxes for the organization with his length and athleticism, but don’t count out a possible trade.

Golden State reportedly likes Iowa State’ Tyrese Haliburton, so it could look to move down the draft board to select him while picking up another asset. Of course, general manager Bob Myers could also trade the selection for a veteran player whose salary the Warriors could absorb through the $17.2 million trade exception.

We have seen some major deals ahead of the draft, and there should be plenty more fireworks to come!
