Ever since the results of the 2020 NBA Draft Lottery came out in August, this day has been circled on the calendar for Golden State Warriors fans. The Dubs hold the No. 2 pick (their highest since taking Joe Smith first overall in 1995), and will look to add a significant piece as they try to get back into championship contention.
The Dubs got some bad news earlier when Shams and Woj broke that Klay Thompson suffered a lower leg injury on Wednesday morning. Golden State may have to alter its draft plans depending on the severity of the injury. Fingers crossed that it isn’t anything serious.
Will general manager Bob Myers walk away with Memphis center James Wiseman? Or is there a surprise in store for Dub Nation?
