The Golden State Warriors recalled superstar Stephen Curry from the team’s G League affiliate as the former two-time MVP gets set for his comeback.
When asked at practice today when we could expect to see Curry play his first game since October, Warriors head coach Steve Kerr said that “Thursday is definitely a possibility.”
Curry participated in a scrimmage with the G-League Warriors in Santa Clara before heading back up to the big club.
“I heard everything went well and happy that he got a really good scrimmage in. The physicality is the main thing,” Kerr said. “For him to go up-and-down and feel the screens and bumps and bruises ... all good signs.
Curry has only played in four games this season and will take some time getting up to speed.
“Steph is good to go,” Kerr added. “We will get together tomorrow with Steph. He’s getting more work in today and then tomorrow we will get together and determine what the next step is.
Kerr had some fun with Curry’s return on Twitter as well.
