Father’s Day is fast approaching! If you’re one of those people who tends to forget dates, let me help you out: Father’s Day is Sunday, June 21.
So here’s some friendly advice from me, your lowly neighborhood Golden State Warriors blogger: If you’re fortunate enough to have a good relationship with your dad, give them a call on Father’s Day. Let them know you’re thinking of them. Let them know you love them.
That’s my plan, at least. Because of the coronavirus forcing us all to stay in, I haven’t seen my dad in nearly six months. Perhaps that’s not that long on the surface, but it’s the longest I’ve ever gone without seeing him. And damn do I miss him.
While I will be calling him, I won’t be getting him any Warriors swag, because if we’re being honest, he’s not a big basketball guy.
But perhaps your dad is. Perhaps your dad is a fan of the Dubs. Perhaps your dad is where you got your Warriors love from. And if that’s the case then I have got the perfect gift ideas for you to send their way.

Yep, if your Dad loves to throw on some blue and gold, sit on the couch, and watch Steph Curry, Klay Thompson, and Draymond Green do their thing, then it’s safe to say he’ll love these goodies for Father’s Day. You can’t go wrong.
And again: Call your dad, if you’re lucky enough to have the opportunity to.
And for those Golden State of Mind readers who are dads . . . Happy Father’s Day! Send this article to your kids so they’ve got some ideas!
