Hello and welcome to an offseason podcast series: Golden State Warriors player reviews.
These reviews are pretty simple. I’m just going to take 10-15 minutes to talk about a player’s season with the Warriors — their stats, their weaknesses, their strengths, their potential role on next year’s team, etc.
Nothing too crazy, but since the last Warriors game was roughly seven years ago, I thought we might all be a little rusty on what actually happened this year. So let’s go back and remember!
I’m doing them in alphabetical order, with all 22 players who wore a Warriors jersey this year, plus Klay Thompson. So first up is 2016 lottery pick Dragan Bender, whom the Warriors signed to a pair of 10-day contracts late in the season after the Milwaukee Bucks waived him.
Bender did a whole lot of good things and a whole lot of bad things, and his spot on next year’s team is up in the air.
