There weren’t many bright spots during the Golden State Warriors 2019-20 season. Such is life when two of your stars have injuries, a third looks disinterested, your offseason acquisition disappoints, you win 15 of 65 games, and your season ends when a pandemic suspends the season.
So it goes.
But Marquese Chriss was a bright spot. Not many people expected him to even be on an NBA roster this season, let alone playing big minutes and putting up nice numbers. But that’s exactly what happened. It was exciting and unexpected, and truly a joy to see.
Chriss is next up in the podcast series I’m doing where I review every player who was a member of the Warriors this season. I talk about his season, how he got there, where he goes from here, and what he did well. You can listen in the embedded podcast player below, or find it on iTunes, Spotify, or Stitcher.
